I just realised I hadn't put this up on my blog yet. So sorry for those of you who aren't on Facebook, but are still keen on the Prima Special Delivery kits, I'm putting an order in for Novembers kit this weekend.

PS: forgot to add price details. I've been able to keep them the same due to the quantity of orders, the shipping price has come down even though the USD is lowering (meaning price goes up).

I also wanted to let you know that these kits are taking me over 1.5 days to process (and doesn't include checking money/names etc), so I am including a small amount to 'pay' myself for doing this.

So prices as mentioned remain the same at $71 for shipping in NZ and $83 for shipping to Aussie. This includes all shipping, kit, the works. A pretty good deal I think you'll agree.

**SOLD OUT** Dec Daily Mini Album Kit for Sale

I'm so excited to present my latest kit for sale. I have long loved the idea of a 'December Daily' type album but never seemed to get myself organised enough to have it ready on time. This year, somehow I was more organised so I decided to make a few extra kits to sell to anyone who would like one.

I have used a few different companies in this album. Prima (of course!), Teresa Collins (has the most amazing Xmas papers!) and Bo Bunny (more gorgeous Xmas product!). Plus alongside these fabulous manufacturers, I've also included a variety of 'day to day' products that perfectly fit the Xmas theme. Things like muslin, lace, ribbon, tags, envelopes etc.

The album is 8x8" in size so is a beautiful size to add in photos, journaling, little trinkets and sentiments from your December, this 2015.

Because of it's size, you need lots of product to make it (gosh what a shame!). At last count, I included 14 pieces of 12x12 paper, 4 pieces of 12x4 paper, a piece of burlap, some muslin, chipboard, stickers, doilies, flair buttons, ribbon, bells, tags, lace stickers, and bakers twine.

So what's the price you ask? Just $55 NZD plus postage. Postage around NZ will be no more than $8, cheaper if you are around Auckland.

Plus I also have a cool die from Elizabeth Craft dies which cuts "Merry Christmas" in the perfect size for this album, or cards. You can add this die to your kit for just $9.

I will have them ready to post on Monday/Tues which gives you plenty of time to get them ready before December hits, or to make as you go through each day.

To complete the kit you only need to have your standard tool kit, white paint, foam tape, a needle, your favourite border punch, ink and some circle punches or a steady hand to cut circles.

A christmas card class

A few months ago I met a lovely lady who asked if I would come and teach at her craft groups meeting. I was thrilled to accept and went along. 6 months later, this has become a regular outing.

Every couple of months teaching an amazing group of ladies who are fun and keen and willing to try new and old ideas. We have made cards and tags so far but this time around, coming up to Christmas we did Christmas cards. And for the first time in what feels like forever I used product other than Prima. Teresa Collins has the most amazing glittery gold Christmas range and I just couldn't go past it for something extra special.

Let's take a look at the cards

The first card was an exploding box. I have seen these designs around for years, but have never made one myself. I thought it would be a great way to show how you can do something extra special as a card, or even make it into a mini album or similar for another reason.

Inside I created a cascading series of glitter balls. So so so much fun!

and attached the sentiment to the front of them.

In the layers was room for some photos, journaling, or more embellishments.

I particularly liked the lid with the stamped images and little christmas tree charm...

The next card was so sweet, it's a screen card. And is super easy to make. Just use a Stampin' Up tag punch to create the ornamental 'legs' of a screen.

 Inside, we created a 3D version of  a Xmas tree....

For this I used an Impression Obsession Xmas tree die (for more examples of IO dies and stamps take a look at their blog), I cut 3 of the ornamental version. One of the solid base, then glued it all together for this cute little embellishment.

The deer are also from IO. They are so cute! I just adore them!

The next card was a shaker card. I first learnt to make these when I first started scrapbooking. That would be around 11 years ago. Wow! This year I've made a few more of them. They are just so much fun and actually quite easy to make.

That cut out 'Seasons Greetings' was also from IO. Gosh, they make some beautiful dies!

And of course, the roses are guess who....Prima! Of course!

The last card is pretty quick and easy. I die cut all the letters and it was just a matter of scoring and gluing the rest together.

Again, like the others, this card is quite simple, but it's all about showing an idea and then you can grow your own embellishing from there.
