I've been doing a lot of walking lately. I've always enjoyed it. But lately I've needed to do it. To take my mind off things that I can't change.
So off I go. It started out about 40 mins, then got up to an hour, then 1.5 hours and now sometimes up to 2 hours. I know as far as exercising goes, it's not the most time efficient, but I really enjoy it. And it means I feel better about not being able to do anything.
So this morning, with nothing on our plates for the day, I dragged my family off on a family jaunt. It was fun.
I remember years ago reading a blog and the writer talked about how a friend asked her how she kept her marriage strong and she replied, we walk together. And when we walk we talk.
And that's what happened to us today. We wandered along the streets chattering away, holding hands, enduring some rain, throwing rocks in the sea. And it was good.
So my challenge to you this week is to put on your walking shoes, grab your family or a friend you haven't seen in a while and take them for a walk.
Dare ya.
Brilliant. Just love it:) thinking of you lotsxx

Sounds like a plan. In our family it used to be doing the dishes together but with the introduction of dishwashers that disappeared. We like walking and talking or we go for a drive somewhere as we talk a lot when we are on the road. Great challenge Trina.
