Here's hoping your hatching rate is better than mine - six fertile eggs, Mumma hen broke three in the first couple of days. One has hatched and still waiting for the other two.

Sounds like you've been having fun. I love the school holidays, there's no pressure to do anything or be anywhere in particular. The kids favourite day is the first Monday aka Pajama Monday. It's a real blob out relaxed day and the wish list of things to do before its back to school is made.

I love that you're an Araucana lover! I've raised them as long as I can remember...I only have 2 in my chicken house right now, a full size hen and a bantam (mini chicken) hen- so I get large green/blue eggs and tiny ones too! I love your work, everything you do is beautiful!
