I'm thinking that these Sunday shake up's we do here might be a mix of something else. Not sure.....
How about we think about what we're grateful for as well? Or instead of?
See, I find gratitude is an incredibly powerful emotion. It kicks sadness to the curb and wakens our senses to the good around us. It can be hard to be thankful when you feel down, but by golly, if you just start, then you find you can, and well, then it changes everything.
So today I'm sharing something I'm thankful for.
And that is books.
I've been reading a lot lately. Getting through a couple of books a week. Perhaps more (one good thing that sickness allows! Grin). I love it. And as I got another couple today, I said to the shopkeeper how my tastes had changed and I'm into books that challenge my thinking. And I like that. I'm thankful that I get to see how other people think and how it could potentially be applied to different situations.
So yes, I'm thankful for books. That I can read. That my children can read and also love books.
It's a good world to be in, a world of books.
i would love to read more books...something i dont get to do until the school holidays!!!
nothing like chilling in the sun with a good book!!!

You should check out bookdepository.com They have free world wide shipping and I'm mainly using them to buy books for myself and my girls. With the US exchange rate so good (you can select which currency to use) it works out to be so much cheaper. I do go into the bookstore so I get the smells and the 'feel' of the book plus get to check out what I like - and what I don't.
