Glad you enjoyed it. Blair set his alarm for 3:45am to watch the opening ceremony & slept thro it & it woke me up. I was not impressed!! & that's only day 1. If he does it to watch all the games he'll be in the spare room before he can say "go all blacks"!!!

Wow!! you've got a pile of fabulous shots of the fireworks. We too watched from home, but being at the bottom end of the Manukau Harbour, our view was nearly as good as yours (Auckland is actually between us and the Viaduct) Glad your kids enjoyed it too.

The fireworks display looks fantastic. I can't think of a better way to start the rugby fun than with a bang. It kinda sets the exciting pace and atmosphere that you'd expect in a great match, no?
