Oh yes, a big day indeed!
I'm so excited about tonights tv watching. I'm one of those closet royalists. Perhaps starting all those years ago watching Princess Dianna marry Prince Charles. Staying up at night in front of the fireplace. I think even falling asleep. It was the fairytale come true.
Since then I've loved hearing about what the royal family are up to. Watching the young princes grow up (I was after all not much older than them, cough cough). And of course being devastated like so many others when Princess Dianna tragically died.
I will remember always where I was when the news came through she had been in an accident, and hours later hearing the news that we all hoped wasn't true.
Tonight while preparing for the evening, watching some footage of Princess Di greeting her boys after some time away from them, I cried as I realised every mothers wish to see their child get married wouldn't happen. That Prince William would go through this day without his mother there. I got all sentimental. I sincerely hope that his marriage will fare better than his parents.
But on a brighter note, here is what our house looks like tonight.....
I'm just hoping I can stay awake as I went to bootcamp this morning for the first time in weeks and am feeling pretty shattered. Wish me luck.
