I love Christmas lights too. We just did the Telecom Tree and Franklin Road last night, and the kids absolutely loved it. There are a couple of streets nearby where almost every house is decorated, and it's our tradition to drive down those roads after our church Christmas Eve service each year. There are even people (residents) handing out lollies, and on one street, one of the ladies takes her electronic keyboard out onto her deck and plays Christmas carols while everybody goes past! :-)

Our little cul-de-sac does CHRISTMAS LIGHTS .... and I say it in capitals because it looks fantastic. We get lots and lots of people driving round including busses from the old peoples' homes. I love it! I love to see people's faces especially the kids. We have many people who tell us we have the best lights in Wellington and people come back more than once each December. This really doesn't show the lights well: http://engel4nz.blogspot.com/search?updated-min=2008-01-01T00%3A00%3A00%2B13%3A00&updated-max=2009-01-01T00%3A00%3A00%2B13%3A00&max-results=50
