DH is the one in our house that watches LOST ... not something that I actually got into ... to be honest! Excuse the pun ... but I was LOST well and truly early on!

and that sketch ... I'm playing with that one ... thank you for sharing.

I watched the finale on Wednesday night here...that was when it was one!! Still left me with questions!!

I have struggled to stay with Lost thru all the seasons, and IMO it was far too drawn out BUT I did watch the last episode hoping for answers - but was still left wondering. I have since been reading online about it. a.the island was real, as was their ongoing struggle. b.they were all drawn to the island as possible successors to Jacob, who was the guardian of the island. c. Jack ended up becoming that successor, and thus died protecting it, and that was what the whole thing was about. d. the final scenes at the church were about him finally moving on and being with the friends he loved the most, as seen thru his eyes. e. some people did get off the island and went on to live further before they died, but thru Jacks eyes at the end they were suspended as he had known them. f. Ben did not go in the church because he still had things to work thru.
Hope that helps.
