OMG...we used to do this when i was young...i remember getting the apricots in wooden boxes....and all the jars....

I remember my mum preserving peaches - we had a HUGE tree in the middle of our vege garden! Good on you for giving it a go, will be great to have peaches all year round!

Yep, you can't beat an Agee preserver ... they are awesome.

Sterilising the jars and the lids drives me insane ... lol!

Go you on doing a little preserving. You can't beat eating peaches and pears mid Winter though that you have bottled yourself.

I swear - I see pictures like that I am spitting tacks I am not living in NZ. I want to come round to your house and stuff myself stupid in your backyard.

And, yes, Jane's rock. They do very dumb things though.
