Bummer! But at least they have them at the same time, and like you say, they'll be pretty much right by Christmas.

Erica Lasham

I hope they both get over them in time for Christmas. Fingers crossed the heat is not making them too uncomfortable.

When my boys had CP, the homeopath told me to dab castor oil on the spots rather than calomine lotion

Sophia Allison

Sorry to hear that, hope all gone by Christmas....

Big big hugs to all the kids and I hope they feel better real soon!

hi trina sorry to hear that none of my kids ever got them
i had a freind whose kids got them they were even by the eyes and looked horriable

ah poor kids. still they should be on the mend for Chrissy. I was told the chemist can make up a gel with a bit of local anaesthetic in it for the spots. Pinetarsel in the bath can help for a little while I found.

ahuh! oh well, least they're getting it over with, and should feel better in time for Christmas(just in time to infect the rest of your family that hasn't had them!heehee). Yep, Pinetarsel in the bath before bed helps them to settle to sleep.

Oh yes I remember the CP days. Son got them right at the end of the school year and was in such a state that he could not go to the end of year class party. Her Ladyship had her dose at New Year just when we were off to the beach. With dire mother-in-law warnings I refused to cancel our holiday and we had a most peaceful time with dips in the sea and plenty of sleeps for the spotted one.
