- Dan had his first swimming lesson today. And he was a star. He did everything he was asked without question, in fact would ask for more. He couldn't wait to get in the pool and was very excited to hear we were going back next week. It was fun. Given that he's only 2 (nearly 3), we can't wait til he turns 3 to go up to the next class. He's so ready for it.
- Sarah got player of the day at Rugby this weekend. I guess when your brother cries his heart out when you don't get it the game before, its to be expected. LOL. But she did get a try (apparently?). So proud of her!
- Last night while Andy was reading "My Mummy is Magic" by Carl Norak, he got to the end of the book where it says "But when my Mummy tells me she loves me..... that's the most magic thing of all". And he hears a quiet little sigh from Sarah and a whispered 'Yeah'. Oh so beautiful!
- Andy's comments from yesterday....Watching "Man vs Wild" last night and there is a ginormous centipede being 'annoyed' by the guy. He says "you don't want one of these going up your trouser legs" (In his big macho I'm a super hero voice) and from the corner of the lounge I hear Andy say 'No I don't want that going up my trouser legs, you bloody idiot". It was one of those things where you had to be there, but had us both in stitches for a good 15mins.
- It was nearly as good as when earlier in the afternoon he told my sister that her drawing of my Nana was a great picture of my Mum. LOL! One of those funny moments you wish you could take back.
- All the kids got to play playstation for the first time yesterday when their cousins took their one to Nanny's place. Matt was beside himself with glee at the games, and was so enthusiastic. I love that side of him. But even more loveable is when Sarah wins, he gets enthusiastic for her too. He is constantly encouraging her, saying 'go Sarah' etc. Its a really special bond they have and makes me feel really proud.
Later.
