I've realised over the last few years my memory isn't so good. And I guess thats another reason I love scrapping. So that was behind the thinking in this LO. I wanted to convey how Andy and I felt when we found our property and hopefully what it would mean to the kids in the future.
Another LO from a month or so back. Lots of different product. Lots of older product. Love getting out stuff I haven't used in a while. Almost like getting brand new stuff again.
We had a busy day today. Dropping things off, coffee with Donna (that was nice!), doctors for Dan, jewellers (getting some charms attached to my bracelet), you know just stuff, and the poor kids were a bit over it all. And I have to admit so was I. So this afternoon we hung out at home. Fed the ducks, jumped on the tramp, played with a new t-ball set they were given and then listened to a new story (again given to them over the weekend).
I'm gonna put together the secret santas tonight, so thanks to those who are going to take part. I'll be in touch shortly.
And last, head on over to the ANZ Fiskars blog to check out the December monthly challenge. Its Christmas ornaments. If you enter, you could be in to win a great little package.
Later.
That's the great thing about scrapbooking, you can preserve those memories in case you totally forget it later on! Oh, and for future generations too, of course! ;-)
Great page, Trina.

Yes, I like the story telling aspect of scrapbooking.

That is such a neat layout. Our photos are wonderful to have, the pretty papers make them look even better but it is the memories we record which are the clincher for me. I have always been a journaller but am finding that I am writing more and more as the time goes on so hopefully the pages are more interesting.

I think you are among many who love scrapbooking for that very same reason Trina!
I just wanted to say that I've really enjoy catching up on your blog too - it's been a little while since I have stopped by BUT I just love all your projects! You never disappoint that's for sure!
