Yep, I went off down to Hamilton with Donna today to visit Vicky and have a day cropping. It was wonderful. Blissful to get out of Auckland and just hang out, chat, crop and not worry about kids. Thanks so much for your wonderful company girls. Totally loved it.
And while I was away, yep, my little mice decided to play. Andy took the kids out on the boat with their cousins. They stopped off at Rangitoto, had lunch and a swim (what the?! LOL), isn't it still too cold? Not for these kidslets.
and then some fishing. And guess what Andy had for dinner tonight?
My niece Esther caught a squid and it was the catch of the day (in fact the only catch of the day. LOL). The kids couldn't believe it and there were squeals when it was dropped on the floor of the boat letting out ink everywhere. But I think they were more impressed than anything. And Andy more than anyone as he sat down to have dinner. Looks good huh?!
Matt looked mighty impressed with the fact he could actually fish. Ok, so he didn't get anything, but that didn't matter. He was giving it a go...
Everyone was exhausted tonight and the kids went straight to bed and asleep. They had a fabulous day.
I got a couple of pages done (well one finished and another started and nearly finished), so that was good. Will scan and show when I get a chance.
But in the meantime here are the sketches for this week:
A circle one for Fiskars to help you along with the monthly challenge which is...circles.
And one for SBO....
We're off to the zoo tomorrow for a bit of family time. Crossing fingers its another nice day so we can make the most of our passes.
C U.

Kia Ora Trina. Looks like the day was a win/win for everyone. I get so confused with what season it is there compared to here, but it did look like a wonderful day at the shore for Andy and the kiddies.
Thanks for your kind comments on my blog recently. I am always interested in and value your perspective on events. Take care.
