Well I got an answer on my illness today. I have a common, but nasty little bug which is very similar to glandular fever. It certainly explains why I'm so tired and in bed every night before 9.30pm (unheard of for me), plus still talking with a major croak in my throat, sore & swollen glands, throat, headaches, etc etc etc. You know how it goes. So I've got a homeopathic remedy to try and help it along its merry little way plus a heap of vitamins. Unfortunately that's all that will help it. Antibugs just don't work with this little blighter. And I need to be careful, it has the potential to lead to chronic fatigue syndrome which I sure as heck don't want camping here!
Anyway, onwards and upwards as they say. Just wanted to share a little something I was given recently by a very cool lady by the name of Jo. She and I hang out a bit and have a lot of fun (have you seen the LO's shes done for Tarisota this month?). Anyway, she recently made and gave me the coolest card.
I'm now the proud owner of a Jo Kneller original. I am one lucky girl!
Ok, and on that note, I'm gonna take off. I need to hit the sack. Have a good one.
So do you have CMV (cytomeglovirus) or EBV (Epstein Barr Virus)? Both of my kids have had CMV lately ( i have diagnosed them
myself but as im a med tech by trade I guess i more than likely to be right!)lol
90% of the population has been exposed to it and is not a concern unless you have pregant women in their 1st and last trimester (and even then you are pretty darn unlucky to a. get it and b. pass anything onto your child (which CAN cause problems)

CMV was blamed for my spleen rupturing but I'm in the minority group who got more than cold like symptoms. Look after yourself T!!!!

I hope it comes right real soon and that it doesn't turn into Chronic Fatique Syndrome as that is what I had at the end of my 3 months working at a summer camp and omg did it wipe it out of me!

I must be going out in sympathy for you over here Trina as I've been bed ridden all week myself. The only good part is that I've lost 4 kilo's in just a matter of days. Not the best way to lose it though! Hope you're feeling 100% soon.
