Yep, made it.
SBO:
As an aside I want to give a big thumbs up to a friend whose been going through some big changes this week. It will have been an emotional time and I'm really proud of her. Not going to say any more, but chick, you rock! Can't wait to hear how today went.
And something cute from my kids this morning. Matt seems to have gotten a little frightened of the dark. This morning when they woke it was dark and they went to the loo, Matt didn't want to put his nappy back on. I called out from bed, to take it to the rubbish bin (this is after watching them both go to the toilet at the same time, in the same toilet! One day I must take a photo!). I heard a whispered conversation:
Matt: I don't want to put it in the bin, its dark.
Sarah: Its ok Matt, look the little light is on.....I know I'll come with you and put the bathroom light on.
Matt: Ok.
And off they went holding hands together to conquer the darkness. Gosh I love their bond. Gosh I love being able to listen to them and hear them solve problems. Gosh I love that Sarah is so darn kind. Gosh I need to stop using the word 'Gosh'. LOL.
We had my Dad and Pene over today with Vonny's children. They came to have dinner with us and to see the baby chickens we're babysitting. We were told earlier in the week we could take them out of their small pen and wander around. It was a bit cold to do that outside, so we put a couple of rugs down and did it here, inside, in the lounge. I have to admit I got the idea off a friend of mine Lara. Anyway, here's a pic to show you how cute it was!
As for me and my illness, its still hanging around and I've gotta say I'm being a big wuss about it! I've whinged and moaned to anyone that will listen. LOL. But I figure I've got an excuse. Well sortof. Andy's been away and only got home today. Poor man! He got home and after I said hi and we hung out a bit I said, ok I'm off to bed, and left him to it. He's shattered. So thanks Andy. You rock!
Alrighty, off to do the last page on the last CJ that the Puke girls and I have been doing. Next week is handover date. I can't wait! But first I have to finish off the one I have here. Now to choose product.....
Later.
Great idea to bring the chicks indoors. The kids all look fascinated by them :-)
Hope you feel better soon - you sound as bad as I feel!! :-(
