Vicki

Its funny you bring this up - my girls babysit for a family who have one of the old dial phones as a gimmick. You know poke your finger in and turn it round. They both needed instructions on how to use it and are both still very wary of it! LOL

Yep I still remember those 'flash' dial phones! We lived on a farm when I was small and had one of the even older 'crank' phones (with a party line) and lets just say Mum learned not to say anything 'private' on the phone because otherwise everyone else knew what was going on in our house LOL

LOL we lived rural too - and our ring was short-long-short, and there was always one neighbour who used to answer all the calls, really annoying!!! and I remember my aunty in real estate getting one of the first ever bricks - SO amazing back then!!
