Trina, I love that sketch, and like you said, I love how you've left off sizes and places for journalling, that really frees it up, and is just a starter, otherwise I get it into my mind that that is where things HAVE to go.

Presents for men, mmmmmm, I have one of those problems too. Mine wants an ipod, which like you said, cheap in China, but it's also his birthday on the 27th, so I still need to think. However, a friend told me about this guy down here, (and obviously you will have to see if there is something up there) who takes you out in his helicopter, and you get to have a try at flying. Something like that perhaps!?!?

Trina, I am having totally the same problem with Richard. I am making him a little OTP project for his desk at work but have decided to get him a cook book by Giada de Laurentiis who he just loves off the Food Network! But her books aren't easy to find and I have had to get one ordered in!

Hit Post before I had written the rest! Way to go Dan on your words! As you know especially with David it is such a proud moment! Way to go on the spontanious fun!

I love that sketch - maybe it's that I haven't scrapped a layout in a long while but just looking at it is enough to make me long for a clear space on my desk and time to make it messy again! I'm with you in the Christmas shopping boat - only got a few presents, loads more to get and no idea what to get DH.

Went onto www.redballoon.co.nz and got my DH and my DN (whose 18) a voucher to go four wheel driving - two hours of theory followed by 4 -5 hours of the real thing!! There are heaps of different 'things' on there, maybe one might appeal?

Cool Sketch Trina! I struggle with pressies for my hubby - he never wants anything!

So cute that Dan has new words. I love this age!

Great sketch, too. Nice and easy but still a very effective one.

Christmas shopping ... I'm so glad I'm done!! And that we do "secret santa" for both my family & Rob's, meaning we only have one adult to buy for. Waaaay easier! Good luck with your shopping mission!

A hot air balloon ride?

Love the sketch!
