how many races is it?? I thought it was about 5.

My mother is horrified when I say this - but I would rather watch paint dry than the yachting (or pretty much any sport). And yes you can run out of wood in Auckland - we did last year. Should be safe this year though. And I am eagerly awaiting the arrival of Nic's book :)

Wasn't that just so awesome to hear this morning. I too am not getting up in the middle of the night to watch. Sleep is still a precious thing to me LOL But yep following it and watching replays etc.

And yes I am waiting for my Nic Howard book too. Hope she signs them all!!!

Tracy

Yes I have been watching the Americas cup too! Caught the first race live, missed last nights, lol, got that wrong, maybe if I don't watch anymore we might win them all ;)
I have Nic's sketch printed ready to scrap at SCRAPCAMP! Can't wait....see you there!

I haven't been staying up to watch - but it was the first thing I heard when I woke up in the morning...very exciting. I still own 3 pairs of red socks from previous AC campaigns. I'm glad I'm not the only cold Aucklander - everyone at work keeps teasing me 'cause I complain about being cold all the time. I can't wait for Nic's book either and I'm in the middle of working on my layout based on her sketch - mines all boyish and grungy as it's featuring my son - my husband reckons its the complete opposite of the locely feminine layout she posted as an example. I'm going to scrapcamp - very exciting. I'm usually very shy too (weird for a teacher I know), however, I will definitly come and say hi. Only 3 more sleeps.

Kirstin

Whoops that should read lovely not locely. :-)

yep - big gobs of hail over here. Great news about the kiddos photo session; I'll have to keep my eye out for that issue!
Have a great time at scrap camp - so wish I could go but not this year.

girlfriday

thinking of you at scrapcamp ... not even venturing over to Rotorua this weekend (as I initially planned) because it's TOO GROTTY to go OUTSIDE!! LOL
might just have to scrap all weekend so I can be Nic-inspired ... ready for the book :)
