This morning the kids had a drawing competition. As always it was very serious and I was asked to judge whose was best.
ARGH! I hate it when they ask that! I mean it's just not fair right?! So I was saying this to them and they said, "that's ok Mum, put them on facebook and ask them to judge".
Are they not clever or what?! Grin.
I said I'd put it up on my blog and link to facebook and we'd see what answers we got. So guys, it's all up to you.....
This drawing is quite light, so hard to see, but is a giant croc from the prehistoric days.
A gorgeous wee seahorse
and some gliding fish in the sea, with some submarines.
Ok, votes please......
I can see why it's a difficult choice, each has it's own merits. I love the play between the fish and the submarines and I think the croc is fantastic, but my vote goes with the seahorse as I love the abstraction and smudging around the edges ... Just gives it a little something extra. Well done all round team McClune.

A VERY difficult decision! I love the dinosaur age so my vote has to be for the prehistoric crocodile.Good luck to you all as each of you displays different talents,well done.

I love the seahorse. I could never draw anything other than trees. well done to all of you. i would give you a 1st place to each of you - if my kids asked me the same question - I'd do the same as what yr mum did

I'm a bit behind with my blog reading, so it may be too late to 'vote' ... but I am voting for the crocodile. Super Croc! Very cool.
I have to say that each picture is beautiful and very unique. I always love looking at artwork because it shows so much about the person, and I feel like I can see each of your kids' personalities in their drawing. Great stuff Matt, Sarah & Dan! :-)
