As I lie in bed listening to the rain on the roof, I feel sad that SENZ is over for me for another year.
It was a wonderful time. I got to hang with my friend Vicky in the evening/morning. I got to hang with new and old friends in the classes and apart from shopping and scrapping, isn't that what it's all about?! I LOVE it.
I drove home easily. The traffic flowed nicely and I had the 'perfect' driver ahead of me for a good part of the time, going at a good speed and lighting the way ahead.
I came across the top of the Bombay's and saw the lights of Auckland in the distance and was taken back to the times we would travel as a family back to Auckland, coming over the hill felt like we'd arrived back home. It looks like Xmas ahead of you and is so pretty. It felt so nice.
I got home to children estatic to see me and we sat on the couch cuddling, watching rugby on tv. I slowly did the normal 'Trina' thing of falling down exhasuted once I realised it was all over and I was home, and I headed to bed early where I got 10 hours of sleep. I feel so much better this morning!
I took a few photos while there, so have lots to blog about in the next little while, including lots of school holiday and special family times. So be prepared to be blog bombarded in the next few days as I recover and have time with the kids going back to school.
Have a great Sunday and for those still at SENZ, have a wonderful day too!
