Huge thanks to Lyn and her angels for having me down to Nelson yesterday. What a beautiful bunch of ladies you all are!
From the hanging out on Friday, to dinner Friday night to the classes yesterday. It was a wonderful experience.
Here's some photos of the day....
How about waking up to this each morning?
Isn't this beautiful? THANK YOU so much Lyn & Bevan for having me stay over. You are wonderful hosts and I so appreciated the time we spent together.
We went and set up for the day to find out our room wasn't as big as they assured us it would be. Oh well, we're nothing if not resourceful and with the help of the lovely man and his wheels, we got it sorted as best we could.
I've put three photos together here (not very well! LOL), but it gives you an idea of the FUN we were all having. Workstations around the room with use of punches, die cuts, inking, painting, embossing, glimmer misting. A big room of glorious mess. But I'm getting ahead of myself. This is a look at our second class.
We started off with the LO class. Here's what it looked like....
It was a bit of a jigsaw to put together, but everyone did really well and their LO's looked amazing!
Of course when you use Prima products, it can't help but look pretty good, right?!
I loved this class. As per usual there was a bit of cutting to do. But then it was a matter of putting it all together. Probably the most 'different' part of this class was using Prima's resist canvas. See those leaves? Yep, that's it. It comes in a packet (with tons of product inside!!!), as white canvas, but when you ink (as we did), or spray it or whatever you choose to do, there is a wonderful pattern underneath that resists the colour you're applying. Neat huh?!
We used two colours of Tim Holtz's Distress ink to get a deep and interesting colour.
We went outside to take a quick pic of the class. Aren't they a great looking bunch?!
On the way back in, Brenda took a photo of me. I wasn't too sure to start with, but one of my 'mantras' is to ensure that I try to include myself in photos, so I couldn't very well turn around and say no, could I? LOL. I think she did a great job (thanks Brenda!)....
And of course it wouldn't be a 'Trina' scrapping class without lots of laughter. OMG, I'm catching flies! LOL.
And those that were there yesterday found out a wee secret that Lyn and I have been working on. It's exciting. It's amazing. It's bigger and better than the one day and it means I'll be going back to Nelson.
Watch this space as we finalise details and get back to you with just what we've been planning. You're going to LOVE it.

Thanks Trina, and thanks Lyn for a most enjoyable, fun, learning day. Can't wait till the final details of your next trip to Nelson are announced.
See you in Hamilton in July (SENZ)
