Number 1 being Dan the man's birthday....
I went for a balloon tunnel instead of a balloon wall. Yesterday I remembered the wall of balloons on What Now and thought I could so do something similar. And so we did. He loved it. And on the floor as he went through it were 3 small toys for him to find.
Happy 5th birthday my little man. We are so proud of you. So excited that you are part of our family.
I'm off to get supplies to make some lovely afternoon tea shortly.
And yesterday's exciting news was that Dan was awarded an endeavour certificate yesterday in front of the whole school. He was awarded it for "Remembering to use great manners at mat time". Endeavour awards are given out by the headmaster and are hard to come by, so in our house, when one is received, we celebrate by going out to dinner. So last night we were at Lonestar for Dan's very first celebration.
After that we met our architect at home. We have finally started to seriously talk house rennos. And last night he came back with preliminary plans for our site.
Can I just say, I LOVE THEM! I can't believe what he has come up with. It's everything I hoped for and more. Now the question is can we afford it? LOL.
So, these really are just the very beginning of our plans and we have got a long long way to go. But it's a start. And all things going to plan, next summer (2012/2013) we'll be in.
So as usual lots going on in our little part of the world. Now I must go to the supermarket!

we have just found our architect too..still waiting EQC assessment and engineers reports but exciting here to get the process started.
